Drawing from his background as a biblical scholar, theologian, pastor, and from his background as a biblical scholar, theologian, pastor, and from his own experience with the media, he considers patterns and practices of communication in the family, the Church, and the media industry. In the process the differentiates between exploitative and authentic communication, and challenges his readers to do the same. Then, in the light of faith, he urges the practice of authentic communication, modeled after the communication of Christ to the world, suggesting the result will be personal integrity and growth, and communion and progress in society. |
