Starting from basics such as the physiology and pathology of skin and wound healing, suture techniques, dressings and dermal substitutes, grafts, flaps and microsurgical techniques, the textbook then tackles topics including malformations, skin cancer, and traumas like burns and wounds. The respective contributions were written by American, British, Italian, German, Korean and Taiwanese teaching experts in the field.
