Descripción
Sumario:Drainage of land has been an important beneficial water management tool for improving crop production around the world. Its importance is reflected in the fact that this volume represents the third time that the American Society of Agronomy has published a monograph on this topic in the past 40 years. Earlier volumes were published in 1957 and 1975. This volume summarizes the information developed during the past two decades and deals with the many aspects of contemporary agricultural irrigation and drainage systems, placing these systems into the perspective of comprehensive water management.
