Descripción
Sumario:The PLS (Scientific Degree Plan) Mathematics was created to make mathematics exciting for students and teachers, through the creation of engaging and fun activities. Three games, in particular, have been designed and organized in the form of a competition (non-competitive) by a team of young mathematicians and proposed to the students of Piedmont. Being able to involve and stimulate all students, often unaccustomed to working in a group, is was one of the objectives of the race organizers. There is no need to be a genius of mathematics to be able to take part in it, but only the desire to engage with a collaborative spirit is needed. The PLS actions proposed in this volume are addressed to students as unusual and creative laboratory activities and followed by lectures on captivating themes, which highlight the various facets of mathematics in the reality that surrounds us. In this volume are documented the competitions and games, the orientation conferences and the national conference PLS related to AS 2012/2013, thinking that the collected materials can be reused by teachers in order to repeat the experience with their students.
