| Notas: | As a follow-up to the 2010 ACRL's publication of The Value of Academic Libraries: A Comprehensive Research Review and Report, and as part of ACRL's multi-year Building Capacity for Demonstrating the Value of Academic Libraries project made possible by an Institution of Museum and Library Services grant, ACRL, along with the Association of Institutional Research, the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities, and the Council of Independent Colleges, sponsored two national summits on November 29-December 1, 2011 in Chicago. The summits convened representatives from 22 post-secondary institutions, including chief academic officers and senior librarians, as well as 15 representatives from higher education associations and organizations, on the topic of outcome assessment of academic libraries.
