Sumario:This book provides the student of Russian with an in-depth, structured approach to the learning of vocabulary. Containing over 5000 words, it can be used for intermediate and advanced undergraduate courses, or as a supplementary manual at all levels - including elementary level - to the study of Russian vocabulary. It is made up of eighteen units covering topics such as the physical world, the human body, leisure, and industry - each unit consisting of words and phrases that are organized thematically and according to levels. Each unit contains approximately sixty graded exercises, encouraging students to practise using the vocabulary in context, and providing a lively and engaging set of self-study tasks.
