Sumario:The classic feminist historiography holds a view that favors well-known groups, persons, texts, and events at the expense of the complexity of the players involved. There has never been a single, homogeneous feminism though; In fact, time and again, feminist movements and debates first find new expression through their inherent conflicts and, through this process, grow in power. Despite the number of publications, few of the works surveyed manage to detach from the mainstream narrative, hence this volume which updates the debates around the history and topicality of feminism beyond clichés, historical reductionism, and uncritical affirmations.
