They cover alloys and ceramics, nanomaterials, and synthesis and properties. Specific topics include the effect of adding nickel on the microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum-based alloys, the synthesis and annealing effects on the structure of alumina by polyol mediated processes, the nanostructure evolution of zinc oxide in ultra-fast microwave sintering, the synthesis and electrochemical characterization of platinum-based materials supported in a carbon nano-tube matrix, and the physical and mathematical study of the electro-remediation process in a cylindrical cell. |
