Sumario:This film documents the technical, scientific, and ecological challenges faced by deep sea researchers. One of the largest scale projects to date is called ARGO. Scientists around the globe work together in an effort to gather data on the physical state of the upper ocean. They use more than 3000 battery powered floats to detect potential influences of the deep sea on weather systems like the El Nino or the monsoon. Does the ocean affect global climate change?
