For example, Lizette reports she believes people are dangerous, that something is inherently wrong with her, and that she deserves the bad things that happen to her. When queried by the provider about how strongly she believes these statements, she reveals that she is 100% convinced that her beliefs are true and does not indicate any openness to the idea that there might be other ways of thinking about it.
