Sumario:Out of the 14 research papers submitted, 9 were accepted. This year, there was no distinction between "full" and "short" papers, and we allowed submissions of any length between 2 and 9 pages of content plus unrestricted space for references. The full written version of each submission received at least three anonymous reviews by independent, qualified international experts in the area. The review process followed a fully double-blind procedure, and dual submissions were explicitly prohibited. The accepted contributions cover a diverse range of topics in document computing including information retrieval models, efficiency, user models and evaluation, data mining, medical information retrieval, and image clustering.
