Since then the event has grown, supported the HCI community in Brazil and consolidated itself as the leading national HCI conference in Brazil, that brings together researchers, practitioners, educators, and students for discussing state-of-the-art works in both academia and practice. It encourages and fosters collaboration across groups, disciplines, and geographical regions. IHC is promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society ( Sociedade Brasileira de Computação - SBC), through its Special Committee on HCI (CEIHC). |
