Sumario:Welcome to the 20th Annual Conference on Information Technology Education (SIGITE 2019). The theme of this year's conference is "Transforming IT Education". IT is a combination of Programming, Human Computer Interaction, Networking, Databases, and Web Technologies with an overarching security component. This unique blend of subjects is constantly changing, which makes for a unique challenge for IT educators to produce graduates ready for today's workforce. The call for papers attracted submissions from Asia, Canada, Australia, Europe, Africa, Oceana and the United States. This year, 85 reviewers conducted a total of 308 reviews of 79 submissions of papers, panels, posters, lightning talks, and workshops. In the end, 23 of 57 paper submissions were accepted for a 40% acceptance rate. A great deal of thanks goes to both the reviewers and, of course, the authors for their excellent work. SIGITE 2019 starts Thursday with the Executive Committee Meeting, the IT Chairs' Meeting, Sponsor Workshops and a 7-hour sightseeing tour of Seattle (Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and Chihuly Garden and Glass). The main conference starts out early on Friday and closes on Saturday evening. New this year, we are making a one day (Saturday), Community College track in hopes of attracting educators and students to our conference.
