Sumario:The EAIA symposium goes into its third year as an independent symposium! As in the recent years this symposium functions as the melting pot for new ideas and innovative applications of M&S that are not yet mature enough to fit into the traditional M&S domains, or that are coping with new questions and challenges and domains. As such, EAIA wants to be perceived as a save haven for emerging and innovative ideas to be presented and critically reflected by peers. In a selective process, three tracks accepted papers that are looking at emerging M&S Applications from the viewpoint of M&S and Engineering (MSEng), Business and Industry (BIS), and Other Emerging Applications (EA). The MSEng Track highlights M&S applications within the engineering discipline. As the BIS Track shows new M&S ideas featured in Business and Industry. The EA Track presents general papers in new insights.
