| Sumario: | It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Workshop of the 4th Workshop on Affective Social Multimedia Computing and first Multi-Modal Affective Computing of Large-Scale Multimedia Data Workshop - ASMMC-MMAC'18. This year's workshop continues its tradition of being the premier forum for presentation of research results and experience reports on affective computing in social multimedia and multimedia, including algorithms, models, and applications. The mission of the workshop is to share novel affective computing solutions for a mixed audience of researchers and product developers from several communities, i.e. multimedia, machine learning, psychology, artificial intelligence, etc. ASMMC-MMAC'18 gives researchers and practitioners a unique opportunity to share their perspectives with others interested in the various aspects of affective computing.
