Sumario:This paper presents an assessment of the competiveness performance of Swiss food industries. The approach taken here is to measure revealed performance, relying on indicators such as market performance, trade success and revealed comparative advantage indicators. The analysis of competitiveness examines the ex post performance of the industry in Switzerland compared to the same industry in benchmark countries in the European Union.
