Descripción
Sumario:The book discusses the use of mental maps in the development of professional competencies. The authors argue that mental maps, a type of information processing using diagrams to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged radially around a central concept, can significantly improve the process of teaching and learning, especially when combined with modern technology such as ICTs. It presents a deep investigation into the current deficiencies among professors at the Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, specifically regarding their use of mental maps and ICTs in teaching. The authors propose a strategy for professional development aimed at enhancing the level of ICT use among these professors, thereby boosting their professional competencies.
