It is essential to our prosperity and it will only become more so in this century. -- President Barack Obama March 11, 2010 This book is the product of hundreds and hundreds of hours of research, with material, both primary and secondary, reviewed, studied, and gleaned from numerous sources, including White House documentation, the US Congress, various other government agencies, many web searches for specific and general information, certain web blogs that are concerned with China's growing economic influence, and then the analysis of the accumulated information. This book is based on known facts, facts that most Americans have never seen, probably due to the massive amount of information with which all people are inundated with each and every day; it's just too much for most. As such, the development did not take on a typical easy read and enjoyment, but perhaps more of a dry, college textbook (you remember those!) that is concerned with facts and substance, not that of pure enjoyment. To some, parts may seem like a fiction novel, but it is all true. Finally, this is not the final word on this very important subject of intellectual property, economic espionage, and national secrets being stolen by China, as the subject area is always increasing day by day with the finding of new facts, conjectures, and opinions on the subject. No one person, the author included, will ever be the authority on the subject as it is just too large to encompass--
