| Sumario: | Published by the Publisher of the Federal University of Bahia (EDUFBA), this book, written in many hands, reveals to the reader the results of the successful partnership between UESB and the Faced Graduate Program in Education - UFBA in teacher training , aimed at improving the quality of teaching, the production of socially relevant knowledge and responsible social action. The results of “Teacher Training and Social Responsibility: multidisciplinary contributions”, even if still very recent, show that it is possible to overcome the development asymmetries between regions and higher education institutions, with regard to teacher training, in the creation and consolidation of research groups, in the expansion and strengthening of undergraduate and graduate courses, necessary for the development of higher education. |
