Descripción
Sumario:The book offers the edition of the thirteen regulations that for the regulation of the oppositions to university chairs followed one another from the creation of the body of university professors in 1845 until the Second Spanish Republic. This edition is preceded by a preliminary study that analyses the characteristics of these norms, which makes it possible to define a primitive liberal model (extremely centralized) and its crisis, which began with the revolution of 1868. Between 1870 and 1931, new elements appeared that, in addition to proposing a new model, they question the validity of the same opposition system to select public teachers.
