| Sumario: | Crime and prison are the objects of study in this book. We try to perceive them from the perspective of the criminal himself while in prison, a point of view that is not always recognized as legitimate. The various discussions on the theme have systematically put old concepts about criminals and prison in a new guise, concepts that in general reproduce versions disseminated by the judicial system. It is to think about this theme from another perspective, that this work seeks to develop. We discuss here, not only the criminal's version of the world of crime and its forms of manifestation in prison, but also the ways in which his conscience captures the situation in a broader context, in which social origin has a fundamental weight in identification as a delinquent. |
