| Sumario: | The consumption of medicines has gained such importance in society that it already represents a field of study, pharmacoepidemiology. This book is a manual on Drug Use Studies (EUM), offering information for both students and professionals. It brings an important theoretical and methodological advance: the insertion of the EUM in the frameworks of the theme of quality assurance in health, as well as in the concepts of Donabedian used in the evaluation of hospital technology. It also contains a vast and updated bibliography. The objectives to be achieved are centered on the search for quality in health care and the insertion of the role of the pharmacist in this permanent struggle, which, ultimately, consists of making the model of care that ensures health as a right of all possible. |
