Descripción
Sumario:This critical review presents an analysis of the set of songs by Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959), published by the publisher Max Eschig de Paris. The thirty published songs form an important panel of the composer's vocal and piano style, punctuating practically his entire creative life. The work respected the chronological order of the creation of the song collections: from 1919 and 1946. In addition to the thirty published songs, the work included the three unpublished songs that are part of the Canções Típicas Brasileiras series. Such works are deposited in the archives of the Villa-Lobos Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
