Sumario:<div><B>Ezequiel Martínez Estrada</B> was a writer, poet, essayist, literary critic, biographer, and academic. Influenced by Freud, Simmel, and Spengler, he believed that geography is an essential factor in the formation of human personality. He began as poet, publishing multiple volumes and contributing to <I>Revista Sur</I>. He suffered a prolonged illness and then moved to Mexico, where he devoted himself to teaching and collaborated with Jose Martí. Some of his works include <I>Examen sin conciencia</I> and <I>Muerte y transfiguración de Martín Fierro</I>.<BR><br></div>
