Sumario:Young man discusses car accident secondary to being sleepy due to gambling all night. His son was in back seat and could have been killed. His wife left him until he gets help with gambling. Also, a friend wants him to get help. Gambles daily, but reports he is not headed to “rock bottom” like his grandfather was. Tells how his grandfather introduced him to gambling, so brings back fond memories. Sees gambling as his “job.” Must continue in order to “help family.” Lost his tech sales job due to poor economy. Reports has little social life since he must help family via gambling. Does not tell his wife that he gambles or that he lost money, making up excuses. Feels very stressed when he is not in casino, especially worrying how he could have killed his son in the accident.
