Sumario:The same adolescent girl is interviewed three months after having had a manic episode. She is in full remission but is upset that her mother hovers over her, making certain she takes her medication. She is slightly happy that her mother is beginning to trust her with her medications. She dislikes that everyone around her is “walking on egg shells,” worrying that she is a “ticking time bomb.” She is annoyed everyone keeps asking how she is doing and that everyone knows she has bipolar disorder. She feels lonely that no one understands and that her sibs are afraid of her. She does not like that her thoughts are slower and also that she is having a side effects to the medication, causing her to have a low libido, weight gain, and stomach aches. She is considering discontinuing her medications, missing the energy and creativity she felt when she was manic. She expresses suicidal thoughts, worrying her symptoms may return.
