During the interview she is visibly restless, describing feeling uncomfortably warm and on edge. Unable to identify one particular root cause, Jennifer is overwhelmed by most of her daily activities. Though she has always had worries, these feelings have worsened over the past nine months and led her to take a break from work. She struggles to articulate any change that might have led to this situation but feels that her relationships have suffered and life in general has become harder for her. Her muscles ache, she has difficulty sleeping, racing thoughts and restlessness. During those periods where she is unable to quiet her mind, she is running through a list of worries on a wide range of subjects. |
