Sumario:Moments later, the same woman continues to be catatonic, but she is able to talk after much struggling. She can only say “yes” or “uh huh,” but not her name or where she is. She is unable to follow directions to hold up her fingers or lift her arm. When the interviewer lifts her arm, she is unable to lower her arm. It is clear that she is trying but cannot. The interviewer is able to lower the woman’s arm. At the end of the interview, she is unable to make a sound or speak. She does not make eye contact.
