Notas: | Part IX includes a Latin translation of Acosta's Historia natural y moral de las Indias, published in Seville in 1590. The narrative of Sebalt de Weert's voyage was written by B.J. Piotgieter and was first published in Amsterdam. It was translated into German and then into Latin by the De Brys. An account of Olivier van Noort's voyage was published in 1602 by Cornelis Claesz.
